Queer Designers of Canada
Design and fashion expert, CityLine host, and Complex editor Christian Dare identified a clear gap: queer designers in Canada were difficult to find, and too often overlooked. Like many marginalized histories, these contributions risk being lost without intentional amplification. The project called for a brand that could signal presence and permanence from the outset. In under four weeks, we developed a distinctive, iconic identity designed to be seen, worn, and recognized—one that reinterprets the Pride flag through a modernist lens, with a subtly retro sensibility that reminds viewers queer designers have always been here.
