CarbonRun: Identity Development
Halifax-based CarbonRun’s decades-long research led to a breakthrough response to a worsening climate crisis. Reducing emissions alone isn’t enough. We also need to remove carbon from the atmosphere. CarbonRun harnesses the natural power of rivers to permanently remove CO₂.
They came to Intents & Purposes with world-leading science, a commitment to collaboration with Indigenous communities, and a need for a brand that could introduce this Negative Emissions Technology to partners, purchasers, and investors.
Together, we developed a cohesive brand identity, core messaging, investor pitch deck, and design system grounded in clean waterways, natural cycles, and momentum. A visual and verbal language that reflects the scale and promise of the technology.
